£5.3m baths to re-open

GLENOGLE Swim Centre is to re-open in July after a £5.3million refurbishment.

The Victorian baths in Glenogle Road have been given improved changing areas, toilets and lockers, with better facilities for disabled customers.

Edinburgh Leisure chief executive Keith Jackson said: "A tremendous amount of hard work has been carried out on the venue since it closed.

"We are looking forward to inviting customers, old and new, back to this excellent facility."
