£5000 TV win for quiz team

A TEAM from Edinburgh last night walked away with a cash prize of £5,000 after winning STV's Postcode Challenge.

The team of friends and family - Brian Pendreigh, Ewen Pendreigh, Max Thomson and Mark Gaffney - also won 500 for their chosen charity, Pass It On.

The organisation adapts donated computers for use by people with disabilities.

They went head-to-head with a team from Glasgow on last night's show, presented by Angus Purden.

The competition features teams whose members are linked by the same postcode.
