£24m boost to help youngsters get jobs

Colleges are to receive £24 million to help people into work, it was announced yesterday.

Youth employment minister Angela Constance revealed the funding as she said more needed to be done to tackle unemployment amongst Scotland’s young people.

The cash is part of the the £52m Employability Fund.
