£14k of drugs found in car

POLICE in the Capital have seized drugs with an approximate street value of £14,350.

Officers stopped two men travelling in a white BMW in Craiglockhart Avenue on Wednesday and a search revealed heroin with an street value of 14,000 and cocaine worth 350.

In addition, officers discovered a small amount of drugs at a property in Colinton Mains Drive.

Three men have been arrested and charged with alleged drugs offences, and were expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday and at a later date.
