£110,000 drug haul at Glasgow train station

Police have arrested a man at Glasgow's Queen Street station after they discovered £110,000 worth of drugs.

The find came last night at 10.15pm in Glasgow's largest city.

It is understood the drug involved is cannabis.

British Transport Police (BTP) said a 35-year-old man had been arrested and was being held in connection with the find.

A BTP spokesman said: "Drugs have no place on the rail network and British Transport Police will continually strive to disrupt and arrest individuals involved in this sort of criminality."

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
