Property advert shows man peeing against wall

ESTATE agents have caused hilarity by showing the magnificent views from an upmarket city flat - complete with a man relieving himself against a wall.

The advert, for a £200,000 penthouse apartment in Edinburgh, includes stunning pictures of the spacious living area, modern kitchen and bright bedrooms.

The property, in Hawkhill Close, Leith, is described as “incredibly elegant and modern with wonderful views and an abundance of space” by agents Murray & Currie.

But the last photograph on the slideshow features a man clearly relieving himself against a wall on the building opposite - a feature presumably overlooked by the photographer.

The picture, which shows the view from the balcony, captures Edinburgh city centre in the distance as well as a nearby cemetery.

But on closer inspection, a shady figure can be seen hunched beside a bush next to the opposite building, with his back to the camera.

It is evident that the unknown man, who is wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and dark trousers, is relieving himself against the wall after being caught short.

The man apparently believed he was screened from nearby buildings by high bushes.

Social media users were quick to comment on the mishap. “Nothing says flat for sale quite like that,” said one.

Another wrote: “Other than that, it does seem like a pretty decent flat.”

One person added: “Someone taking a slash. Madness.”

Other property details boast that the apartment has three double-bedrooms with an open-plan living and dining area.

There is a large, private balcony which connects the kitchen to the lounge, and potential buyers will also be allocated their own private parking space and be able to use a lift up to their flat.

Earlier this year, a collection of hilarious estate agent pictures went viral, showing the worst snaps used to advertise property.

They include a picture showing a washing machine suspended dangerously over a toilet seat, an outdoor garden table and parasol in the middle of a kitchen, and even a pig relaxing in a living room.

Another picture shows a man on the toilet in the corner of a shot, as well as a handgun left next to the bathroom sink.
