PROFILER Lee Rainbow has been involved in the hunt for some of the UK's most notorious criminals in recent years.

His advice helped police bring Steve Wright, below, to justice for the murders of five prostitutes whose bodies were found in isolated spots near Ipswich, Suffolk, during a ten-day period in December 2006.

He also helped in the investigation following the disappearance of Shannon Matthews, nine, in West Yorkshire, in 2008.

Shannon was found alive and well almost a month later. Her mother, Karen Matthews, was arrested, along with Michael Donovan, her partner's uncle. Both Matthews and Donovan were found guilty of kidnapping, false imprisonment and perverting the course of justice, and sentenced to eight years in prison.
