Probe after body found

POLICE are investigating after a man’s body was found in East Lothian.

Officers found the 47-year-old in a property in Jacobite Way, Prestonpans, yesterday morning. The area was cordoned off, but it is understood the death is being treated as non-suspicious.

A police spokesman said: “Police are carrying out inquiries at an address in Jacobite Way, Prestonpans, after the body of a 47-year-old man was discovered within the property at around 6am yesterday.”
