Prisoner absconder back in custody

A PRISONER who failed to return to Castle Huntly open prison, near Dundee, after being allowed out on home leave has been traced in the Strathclyde area and returned to custody.

Daniel Lindsay McDougall, 42, who was sentenced to four years in November 2008 for assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement, had been due back at the jail on Saturday.
