Primary sets the standard

SCHOOL inspectors have given Stenhouse Primary School and its nursery class a glowing report on the back of a recent inspection.

HMIE paid tribute to the work of teaching staff and said they had high aspirations for their pupils from nursery age through to primary seven.

Headteacher Marlene Galashan said: "Our team has put in a huge effort and I'm delighted. I'm particularly pleased that our school has been identified as a sector leader for our international work and for Gaelic education."
