Pregnant Van Outen is axed

TV PRESENTER Denise Van Outen has accused the BBC of dropping her from Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's new talent show because she is pregnant.

Van Outen, 35, who is six months pregnant, said she felt "disappointed and let down" after being told she could not be a judge on Over The Rainbow, which is hunting for someone to star as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.

She is set to be replaced by singer Charlotte Church.

Van Outen's husband Lee Mead performs at The King's next week in Lord Arthur Savile's Crime.
