Power failure halts China's new trains

China's showcase bullet trains linking Beijing and Shanghai have been halted by power cuts for a second time, less than two weeks after their launch.

The railways ministry said there had been a power failure near the eastern city of Suzhou, "causing some train delays". It did not say what the cause was.
