Potter book to go on sale

A SIGNED first edition of a Harry Potter book will go under the hammer tonight to raise money for a research centre for multiple sclerosis.

It is hoped more than 1000 can be raised by the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows book, donated by JK Rowling.

Although the auction itself, raising money for the Edinburgh University centre for MS, will take place in Yorkshire, bidders are welcome to make offers by telephone.

Anyone who phones 07518 368 681 by 1pm will be able to arrange a direct line to the bidding process.
