Portrait Gallery staff craft curling tribute video
STAFF at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery have recorded a lo-fi tribute to Eve Muirhead’s Olympic curling team - with the aid of a wooden brush and a hoover.
The clip shows curatorial staff from the Queen Street gallery recreate the bronze medal-winning moment using a ‘Henry’ brand hoover in place of a curling stone.
The video, which ends in wild celebration among the ‘team’, was first seen on the Galleries’ Twitter account.
Muirhead’s team took the bronze medal after beating Switzerland 6-5 in Sochi earlier today.
