Portobello site proposal

A PROPERTY developer has launched a bid to transform a Portobello industrial estate into a new housing, retail and office development.

Davidson Mains-based DL Developments is proposing the development to transform the triangular site, between Sir Harry Lauder Road, Fishwives Causeway and Portobello High Street.

A public meeting will be held at Portobello Town Hall to discuss the plans at 7.30pm on 16 July.
