Popping in to help Pakistan

BIG-HEARTED pupils at Hermitage Park Primary School have been donating their pocket money to help relieve suffering in flood-hit Pakistan.

They have been popping spare coins in clear plastic bottles left in each class which have been emptied at the end of the week and the donations totted up.

All proceeds from the scheme, which runs until October, will be presented to the Edinburgh Disasters Response Committee run by Mercy Corps.
