Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky is set to make an historic address to the House of Commons in English on Wednesday.

The 45-year-old is set to address the UK Parliament after the end of Prime Minister’s Questions, which typically finishes close to 1pm.

The address comes Prime Minister Rishi Sunak met with Mr Zelensky on the steps of 10 Downing Street for a photo opportunity.

Mr Zelensky is due to meet at further length with the Prime Minister separately to the House of Commons address.

Buckingham Palace has also confirmed King Charles III will host a meeting with the Ukrainian president on Wednesday.

What can we expect from PMQs?

PMQs will be a significant test for Mr Sunak in the wake of Tuesday’s Cabinet reshuffle.

Sir Keir Starmer and other members of the opposition, including SNP Westminster leader Stephen Flynn will quiz the PM on a host of other topics.

Prime Minister's Questions (PMQs) will take place in the Commons Chamber on Wednesday, February 8 at noon.
