What Boris Johnson and Ursula von der Leyen had for dinner in Brussels

As both leaders attempted to reach a post-Brexit trade deal, the European Commission has revealed the three-course meal enjoyed by Boris Johnson and Ursula von der Leyen in Brussels tonight.
With dinner, beginning at 7pm, the two had pumpkin soup with scallops for starters, which may have given them a lead-in to discuss fishing rights’ disagreements.
They went on to enjoy a main of steamed turbot, mashed potatoes with vegetables and wasabi to kick them into trade agreement talks.
Pavlova with exotic fruit and coconut sorbet was desert.
