As campaigning for the Scottish election steps up SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon, Labour's Kezia Dugdale, Conservative Ruth Davidson, Lib Dem Willie Rennie and Green Patrick Harvie answer five quick fire questions.

On May 5, the face of Scottish politics could once again shift as voters head to the poll for the country’s parliamentary elections.

PA (Press Association) decided to give voters a flavour of the five main parties hoping to get a seat at the table in Holyrood by putting five questions to the party leaders.

Each candidate revelead what they think are the key issues facing Scotland as the nation prepares for the ballot.

 Other gems of wisdom we glean from the candidates are that Ruth Davidson is “mad for crisps”, Kezia Dugdale has been on three TV quiz shows and Willie Rennie is unable to describe his campaign in just three words (he uses four).

The SNP are widely expected to chalk up another resounding victory at the ballot box, after Labour lost huge swathes of support following the Independence referendum in 2014.  

The battle for second place is a more unpredictable affair, however a recent poll has shown Scottish Labour are in second place among voters in the Holyrood election ahead of the Conservatives, with the nationalists maintaining a clear lead.
