Socialist party keeps it local

WEST Lothian Scottish Socialist Party has chosen local man Ally Hendry to stand in Livingston at this year's general election.

Mr Hendry, who was also the candidate at the 2005 election, was selected at a branch meeting in Whitburn Community Centre.

He has lived in West Lothian all his life and has campaigned in the constituency since 2003.
