Nicola Sturgeon is set to launch the SNP party’s manifesto ahead of this year’s Scottish elections.

The First Minister is expected to announce a range of new measures that she plans to implement if she is elected next month.

Already the SNP has announced it will promise to increase frontline NHS spending by at least 20 per cent over the course of the next parliament and bolster education initiatives to protect the Gaelic language in Scotland.

Following the announcement, the First Minister will answer questions from journalists at about 11.30am.
