Scotland to foster sporting relations with Hong Kong

SPORTING connections between Scotland and Hong Kong will be fostered in a five-day visit this week.

Shona Robison, minister for the Commonwealth Games, will hold talks with a government minister, the Hong Kong Sports Federation and the Olympic Committee.

She will also use the occasion to support the Scottish team competing in the Hong Kong Sevens. Ms Robison wants to develop links between Scottish Rugby and the Hong Kong RFU through a scheme known as “Positive Coaching Scotland”, which targets young people.
