The Government is set to quash convictions from the Horizon scandal.

Rishi Sunak promised a new law to exonerate subpostmasters, with more details expected later today.

PMQs live: Rishi Sunak to face questions with update expected on Horizon scandal

Sir Keir Starmer goes in on Rwanda, asking about Rishi Sunak’s “reservations” over the scheme when Boris Johnson was Prime Minister.

Mr Sunak insists he wants to stop the boats, but refuses to deny he didn't back the plan.

The Labour leader told the Commons: “I notice he didn’t deny it. I am not surprised, £400 million of taxpayers money down the drain, no one sent to Rwanda, small boats still coming. It is hardly a surprise he wanted to scrap the scheme when he was trying to sneak in as Tory leader".

Keir Starmer mocks Rishi Sunak's endless relaunches, saying he portrayed himself as Mr Steady then Mr Change, but is actually Mr Nobody.

Also jokes about the Prime Minister changing what he believes in, which is bold to say the least.

Rishi Sunak says Keir Starmer is choosing the "criminal gangs over the British people", which is a really horrible way to do politics.

Here is Rishi Sunak tweeting about the Horizon scandal, which is very impressive given he's in the chamber.

Almost like he doesn't do his own tweets.

Devolution, devolution, devolution

With the Post Office announcement in Westminster that will exonerate 100s of subpostmasters, all eyes now on the Scottish Government, and whether it will follow suit and bring a bill to Holyrood.

Westminster is bad, SNP say

Stephen Flynn says subpostmasters never "stood a chance against Westminster", because obviously he's going to link it back to independence.

Calls it a "plague on all their houses".

Do words mean anything?

Taking a softball question from a Tory MP, Rishi Sunak says that he is "cutting your taxes".

In reality, he's raised them in the UK to a record high.

Odd line of questioning for Stephen Flynn to attack Westminster failings on the Horizon scandal, given the Post Office brought prosecutions in England, in Scotland the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service had sole responsibility for prosecuting Horizon cases, and did so.

Tory MP Anna Firth is now asking about Brexit bonuses, pointing to some clams that can now be sold.

Brexit good for fisheries? Now that would be news.

Rishi Sunak now facing questions about his declaration of private jet travel expenses.

Labour MP Alex Norris asks: “Can I ask the Prime Minister very simply for the public record whether he personally met Mr Akhil Tripathi in April last year prior to Mr Tripathi giving him £38,000 for the hire of a private jet?”

The Prime Minister replies: “All my declarations are made in the usual way according to the usual processes.”
