Referendum round-up: BBC | Royal Highland Show
TODAY’S MAIN NEWS:
Chief secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander has admitted that Scotland could negotiate to share the BBC and the National Lottery. Alexander, who “remains skeptical” of Scottish Government plans for the institutions, told the Guardian that the issue would remain up for negotiation.
Meanwhile, both the Yes and No camps are aiming to woo undecided rural voters at The Royal Highland Show this weekend, The Telegraph claim that Alex Salmond has received details on the set-up costs for an independent Scotland, and the SNP’s Humza Yousaf has claimed that independence could help ‘rebalance’ power in England.
