Pedal on Parliament bid to improve cycle safety
The ride from The Meadows to Holyrood will be led by former world champion cyclist Graeme Obree and include politicians and families of cyclists killed on Scotland’s roads.
MSPs taking part include Jim Eadie of the SNP, Alison Johnstone of the Greens and Labour’s Sarah Boyack and Kezia Dugdale, and Labour MP Ian Murray.

Hide AdOlympic cycling champion Sir Chris Hoy, who is unable to attend, said: “Cycling isn’t just about winning medals, it’s an activity for everyone, be they cycling for sport, transport or just for fun. Thus I believe it is incredibly important Scotland invests in safe cycling for all.
