Motion slams PM’s veto

EDINBURGH Western SNP MSP Colin Keir has tabled a motion at Holyrood attacking David Cameron’s use of the veto at last week’s Euro summit.

The motion describes the move as “an impulsive decision” which could hinder Scotland’s ability to influence key policy areas such as the EU budget, agriculture and fisheries, and criticises the Prime Minister for failing to consult with the devolved administrations or his coalition partners before “effectively deciding to isolate Britain from the rest of the EU”.
