Missing hawk found dead

THE search for a missing hawk brought in to scare off the pigeons plaguing the Scottish Parliament has come to an end.

The six-month-old Harris hawk, called Tweed, has been found dead, caught in the engine of a train.

A Scottish Parliament spokeswoman said: "We were very sorry to hear what happened to Tweed."
