Ministers face bomber probe

TWO members of the UK Cabinet will be quizzed by MPs next week on relations between Westminster and Holyrood.

UK justice secretary Jack Straw and Scottish secretary Jim Murphy will both give evidence to the Commons Scottish affairs committee on Wednesday.

The committee is conducting an inquiry into communication between the UK and Scottish governments, particularly over the release of the Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Ali Mohmet Al Megrahi.

Last week, First Minister Alex Salmond and justice secretary Kenny MacAskill were questioned.
