Michael Russell to update Holyrood on Scottish Government Brexit preparations
Constitutional Affairs Minister Michael Russell is to update MSPs on the Scottish Government's Brexit preparations.
Mr Russell will make a statement at Holyrood this afternoon, which is expected to underline the SNP administration's commitment to remaining in the single market and customs union.
The statement comes amid reports that a deal is moving closer with Europe's chief negotiator Michel Barnier claiming an agreement is "possible" within six to eight weeks.
