Man charged with stalking Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon

A MAN has appeared in court charged with stalking Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Dogan Arslan, 46, appeared in private yesterday at Glasgow Sheriff Court. He made no plea or declaration after spending the night in the cells, and was brought from Cathcart police office.

Arslan was granted bail by Sheriff Lindsay Wood. A police spokesperson said: “We can confirm that on Thursday,
13 December a 46-year-old-man was arrested in connection with alleged stalking offences.”
