Lord Forsyth backs Davidson

The peer has been critical of Murdo Fraser’s plans for a new right-of-centre party that would replace the Tory brand north of the Border.

Ms Davidson said yesterday she was “honoured and delighted” by Lord Forsyth’s endorsement.
