Labour seeks laws to help forces

LAWS to prevent discrimination against the armed forces should be considered by ministers, Labour claims.

Shadow defence secretary Jim Murphy said military personnel found it more difficult than civilians to get credit for a mortgage or loan, while one in five have faced harassment in the street or refusal of service in places like pubs and hotels.
