Kitten-heeled Tory chairman is Hot2Trot

THERESA May caused a furore when she declared at the Conservative conference they were the "nasty" party but she also caused a high street stampede with her platform footwear.

The sharply-dressed Tory chairman wowed the party faithful with a pair of kitten-heeled shoes adorned with leopard print fur.

Mrs May later confessed to having bought them at high class high street outlet Russell and Bromley. Sales, apparently, rocketed as Tory ladies ditched traditional twin sets for their chairman’s more risqu look.

And her remarks must have paid off. In the Register of Members’ Interests, published yesterday by the House of Commons authorities, the MP for Maidenhead declared she was presented in November, only weeks after her barnstorming performance in Bournemouth, with "three pairs of Hot2Trot shoes from Russell and Bromley".

The shoes cost 110 full price, although it was rumoured at Westminster last night that they may be available at a dramatic discount in the January sales.
