Jim Murphy unveils front bench reshuffle


Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy included fellow leadership contenders Neil Findlay and Sarah Boyack in his front-banch team.
Mr Findlay was given the role of shadow minister for fair work, skills and training brief, while Sarah Boyack was appointed to the rural affairs portfolio.
Jackie Baillie will shadow John Swinney’s finance role, while Jenny Marra is promoted to health and former leader Iain Gray moves to education.

But there are no positions for the former business manager Paul Martin and the former chief whip Lewis MacDonald, who move to the back benches.
