Jim Murphy restarts 100 streets in 100 days tour

LABOUR MP Jim Murphy is to resume his speaking tour tomorrow after he postponed the one man campaign last week.

The No campaign confirmed that Mr Murphy would be re-start his speaking tour in Edinburgh’s Princes Street, where he will be speaking from a mobile stage.

Mr Murphy said he had been forced to postpone his ‘100 streets in 100 days tour’ on police advice following the egg-hurling incident in Kirkcaldy last week.

The Labour shadow cabinet minister said the behaviour of some independence supporters had been “sinister” as he suggested Yes campaigners in parts of Scotland had “orchestrated” attacks against him.
