Jim Murphy and Kezia Dugdale’s New Year message

SCOTTISH Labour’s new leadership team Jim Murphy and Kezia Dugdale have released their New Year message to Scotland.

Looking back on what he describes as a great year for Scotland, Jim Murphy asked Scots to ‘harness their passion’ and help to make Scotland ‘the fairest nation on Earth’.

Deputy Kezia Dugdale spoke on renewing the party’s pledge to banish poverty in Scotland and helping to eradicate the need for food banks.

The party also announced plans to allow people to join Scottish Labour for just £1 in January.
