Kezia Dugdale's performance in reality jungle show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here has left the show's executives underwhelmed, according to reports.

TV bosses are said to be disappointed by the former Scottish Labour leader's actions in the show so far having paid the Edinburgh list MSP just under £100,000 for taking part in the show.

Insiders say she failed to bond with fellow contestants and has not thrown herself into challenges.

On entering the ITV reality show, she went head-to-head with the TV presenter to become Prime Minister of the jungle but failed.

She faced Iain again in the live Bushtucker Trial on Sunday night and was beaten as he necked pints of blended bull penis and pig and ostrich anus before her.

They told The Sun : "Kezia has been a massive letdown.

"She hasn't bonded with campmates, has been acting superior and hasn't broken from her politician mode.

"Bosses were also ticked off with the live trial - they thought she was a bad sport."
