Holyrood seeks views on e-cigarette regulation
The Scottish Government is consulting on whether the sale of electronic cigarettes to under-18s should be banned.

Hide AdMinisters are considering making it illegal for an adult to buy e-cigarettes for someone under age as well as restricting advertising of the devices.
Members of the public are also being asked their views on banning smoking in a car if there is a child under the age of 18 on board.
The consultation was launched on October 10 and closes on January 2.
Small shops are also being reminded that a ban on displaying tobacco products comes into effect on April 6.
Public Health Minister Maureen Watt said: “2015 will be a significant year for tobacco control, because from April 6 no shop will be able to display tobacco products. The rules have been in place for large shops since 2013, but we want to ensure that all small retailers are aware of the changes they need to make over the next three months.
“Having tobacco products on display in shops helps to normalise them, and we believe that by keeping them under cover we can prevent young people from taking up the habit.
“There is also not much time left to take part in our consultation on e-cigarettes and second-hand smoking. I am very keen that as many people as possible take part in this consultation so that we have a wide range of views on the table. I’d urge everyone to consider taking part via the Scottish Government website.”
All consultation responses will be used to inform the development of any legislation.
