This week it’s the turn of former X Factor finalist Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho, who appeared in Series 7 of the popular TV talent show.

The Brazilian-born ex-PE teacher earns a bit of cash on the side by offering to sing songs for £20, primarily as birthday greetings, but recently has branched out into football songs and, apparently, congratulatory songs for politicians.

The Birmingham-based singer says: “To Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland - a special congratulations on your victory, from Sean Kenny.”

The singer then belts out the chorus to Donald Where’s Your Troosers, before blowing a kiss to the First Minister ‘from Sean himself’.

The flamboyant singer ran into trouble twice in quick succession, first singing the ‘Billy Boys’ song for a Rangers fan, before a Celtic fan paid Wagner £20 to sing a pro-IRA song by Irish band the Wolfe Tones.

At the time, Wagner apologised, saying: “I was asked to sing a football song on a video message wishing someone a happy birthday and, for the second time now, the football song had another meaning and I never knew it.

“My apologies to everyone who was offended by the song; I assure you that from now on I will not sing any football chants anymore without first researching its meaning to make sure it will not upset anyone. Problem solved.”

Since then he has sang songs mocking Dundee United and celebrating Hibernian midfielder John McGinn as well as the Irish national anthem.

• An earlier version of this article erroneously stated that Sean Kelly, rather than Sean Kenny, had organised the video. Our apologies to both Sean Kenny and Sean Kelly for the mistake.
