Blogger’s praise for ‘bad boy’ Murdo

One of the Scottish events of the conference was Scottish leadership contender Murdo Fraser’s end of the party party.

Mr Fraser, who wants to scrap the Scottish Tories and replace them with a new party, invited blogger Ian Dale to his shindig.

Mr Dale told guests how nice outgoing leader Annabel Goldie and Scotland Office minister David Mundell are.

He then added: “What I really like about Murdo though is that he is a bit of a bastard.”
