Alex Salmond's renewed submission to the harassment complaints committee has been published.
Alex Salmond’s resubmitted evidence to the harassment complaints inquiry is due to be published at 4pm.

It will include the former first minister’s revised submission on the potential ministerial code breach by his successor Nicola Sturgeon, alongside a wider evidence submission on the topic.

Publication of the evidence comes after a court challenge brought by The Spectator magazine and a decision by the Scottish Parliament’s Corporate Body last week after the committee twice voted to block the publication.

Mr Salmond is set to give evidence to the committee on Wednesday, with Ms Sturgeon set to give evidence during the first week of March.

The committee is examining the botched handling of harassment complaints against Mr Salmond by the Scottish Government, which led to a £500,000 legal bill after the Government conceded a judicial review challenge on the grounds of the process being “tainted by apparent bias”.

Mr Salmond was also acquitted of sexual offence charges in a trial last year.
