Police warning over rural fuel thefts

Police are urging farmers not to leave farm machinery or vehicles unattended in fields overnight.

Tayside Police said fuel was recently stolen from a combine harvester.

The large quantities of fuel the machines hold and the quiet, unclassified roads which border the fields make fuel thefts attractive to criminals.
