Police unsure of CCTV image

POLICE are still trying to determine whether a woman spotted on CCTV in the Stockbridge area 11 days ago is missing mother-of-three Betty Brown.

Officers released a CCTV image that they think could be Mrs Brown outside the Sainsbury's in Deanhaugh Street after a call from a member of the public who thought they may have spotted her.

Family members of the missing 55-year-old have seen the image and believe there is a genuine likeness to Mrs Brown.

Police are still urging anyone who has seen Mrs Brown to come forward.
