Police shot man they thought had a gun

A MAN was shot dead by police when he pointed what they thought was a machine gun at them after spending the previous night drinking and smoking cannabis, an inquest heard yesterday. Dayniel Tucker, 39, was shot at Stansted, Kent, on of 29 December.

The hearing, in Gravesend, was adjourned.
