Police set to blitz bad drivers
MOTORISTS are to be targetted in a new crackdown by Police Scotland.
Chief Constable Sir Stephen House has signalled a focus on “roadside re-education” with officers issuing verbal warnings to drivers over their behaviour behind the wheel.
He said: “We want people stopped. We don’t necessarily want them prosecuted, but we want them stopped if their driving merits it. We want to give out as much advice as prosecutions.”
