Police seize £70K of Class A drugs

Class A drugs worth more than £70,000 have been seized from a vehicle in the Highlands.

The suspected cocaine was found on Saturday during a routine stop-and-search of a vehicle in the Caol area near Fort William in the Highlands.

Northern Constabulary said that a 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the discovery.

He is expected to appear at Fort William Sheriff Court today.
