Police seize cocaine haul

POLICE seized cocaine with a street value of £125,000 after stopping a car for a search in Midlothian and later raiding a property in the Capital.

Officers seized 60,000 worth of the Class A drug from the vehicle, which was stopped in East Mayfield Drive in Penicuik around 3pm on Tuesday.

A subsequent search of a property in Oxgangs led to the discovery of a further 65,000 worth of the drug. A man and woman, aged 27 and 19, were to appear at court yesterday.
