Police seek taxi driver

POLICE are trying to trace a taxi driver who dropped off a woman shortly before she was found unconscious in the street with a serious head injury.

The 58-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment, where she remains in a serious condition, after being found lying in Warrender Park Crescent at around 1.50am on Thursday.

Police said there appeared to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, but officers are keen to speak to a taxi driver who is believed to have dropped the woman off just before midnight.
