Police search for relatives after man dies in hospital

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing any relatives of a former John Lewis worker who has died after a battle against lung cancer.

Michael Sinclair died at the Western General Hospital on Thursday.

The 65-year-old had been receiving treatment there for lung cancer and other respiratory problems. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Mr Sinclair, who is believed to have been born in Peterborough, lived in Edinburgh for most of his life. He worked for John Lewis for around 30 years.He has a son who is believed to stay in the Channel Islands, possibly Jersey, and police are keen for any information that can assist in tracing him.
