Police Scotland unveil new logo
Police Scotland has revealed its new logo, a combination of a thistle, Royal crown, and the Latin phrase ‘semper vigilo’, which means always alert.
Underneath the symbol are the words ‘Police Scotland’ and ‘Keeping people safe’.
The new national force was launched in April, taking over from eight regional forces and the Scottish Crime and Drugs Enforcement Agency.
It’s official title is the Police Service of Scotland, but it is commonly referred to as Police Scotland.
